In a December 30, 2021 article published by The Washington Examiner, Daniel Chaitin reported recent statements made by Dr. Anthony Fauci saying that hospitalizations among children with COVID-19 are overblown.

MSNBC host Ayman Mohyeldin reportedly asked Fauci to comment on the impact of the omicron variant and its supposed contribution to the rise in cases among children who are ending up in the hospital. Fauci said the surge in numbers has two contributing factors.

“First of all, quantitatively, you’re having so many more people, including children, who are getting infected. And even though hospitalization among children is much, much lower on a percentage basis than hospitalizations for adults…When you have such a large volume of infections among children, even with a low level of rate of infection, you’re going to still see a lot more children who get hospitalized.”

“But the other important thing is that if you look at the children who are hospitalized, many of them are hospitalized with COVID as opposed to because of COVID… And what we mean by that — if a child goes to the hospital, they automatically get tested for COVID. And they get counted as a COVID-hospitalized individual. In fact, they may go in for a broken leg or appendicitis, or something like that. So it’s overcounting the number of children who are, quote, ‘hospitalized with COVID,’ as opposed to because of COVID.”

Editor’s Note: What Fauci is referring to here is incidental COVID. People who go to hospitals for other concerns must get tested, and when they get a positive result, they are added to the “positive cases” statistics. One thing to remember here is that Fauci is infamous for flip-flopping. He tells the truth only when it serves him. We must reiterate the following facts:

In the Philippines, one of their scare propaganda is those children hospitalized due to covid; however, Fauci has stated that there are a hundred and one reasons why kids get hospitalized. Parents should be aware that covid is not a deadly disease, and their children are not at risk at all. So taking children to get jabbed because of fear of the harmless virus is not just negligent but abusive and immoral.
