In this August 26, 2021 article by Dr. Joseph Mercola, he discusses how the US Surgeon General and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are changing the narrative so that people think that natural immunity does not work.
According to US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy, immunity from natural infection is not enough to protect a person from the Delta variant, and that the vaccine is still the best protection against the virus.
Meanwhile, the US CDC has recently published a study claiming that unvaccinated people are “more than twice as likely to be reinfected with COVID-19 than those who were fully vaccinated after initially contracting the virus”.
Mercola goes on to critique the results of the CDC study. He said that the obvious flaw in the study is that it only looked at positive COVID test results, not the actual symptomatic illness. Mercola says, “the study only looked at positive test results, and we do not know whether more vaccinated people were symptomatic than the unvaccinated, or vice versa”. [We know that positive results are not a good indicator because COVID tests are flawed, read FDA documents show no reference virus for RT-PCR tests, virus strain found in tests may not be the causative agent for COVID, New study proves that RT-PCR positivity should not be used as a measure of infectiousness, Sweden: PCR cannot be used for diagnosis, Manitoba Government Chief Microbiologist: 56% of positive “cases” are not infectious, but products of misleading RT-PCR tests, New study shows how recovered COVID patients can repeatedly test positive, shows varying implications to RT-PCR testing].
Aside from this, Mercola adds that the study has many shortcomings, including the fact that the vaccinated are less likely to get tested [due to the change in monitoring protocol of the CDC, see CDC changes reporting protocol for breakthrough cases]. Mercola adds that a better gauge of the success of vaccines would have been to compare the hospitalization and mortality rates of the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. He says that in Israel, those who have received a COVID vaccine are 6.72 times more likely to get infected than people who have recovered from natural infection.
Mercola then goes on to build the case for natural immunity and debunk the claim that the unvaccinated are disease factories. He adds that the CDC is misrepresenting the data to push people to take the COVID vaccines.
Editor’s Note: It is becoming clear that the CDC is putting out false news. They have been publishing flawed studies and reports in order to support their agenda [take for example the following: Florida health department calls out CDC for bloating COVID cases by 8,733, Johns Hopkins professor: Ignore the CDC, natural immunity works, Debunking the CDC study on mask mandates, Dr. Mercola: Evidence of lying in US CDC. Other organizations are also putting out false news about natural immunity, read Immunologist demands WSJ editorial board to retract false article about COVID immunity and WHO deletes info on natural immunity on its website].
We know, based on our own research, that natural immunity is superior to any vaccine [see BBC finally takes notice, publishes COVID “heresy” about natural immunity, Natural immunity triggered by COVID infection superior to vaccine-induced immunity, Pro-vaccine immunologist: “I would probably prefer to have natural immunity”, The huge disparity between immunity from natural infection and vaccine-induced immunity, New study from Cleveland Clinic shows vaccine provides no added benefit to those who already had COVID].
CDC is trying to rewrite science by making baseless claims about natural immunity, but we know the truth. Unlike vaccines, natural works to protect us in the long-term, and it can even neutralize future variants of the virus [see New data shows vaccines useless against COVID in the long-term, Nature Journal: SARS-CoV-2 infection induces lasting immunity, Your immune system can protect you from COVID and all its future variants, anyone who says otherwise is lying, Another study shows natural COVID-19 immunity lasts for substantial period of time, Metastudy shows little possibility for variants to escape human immune system, New study finds mild COVID creates lasting antibody producing cells, New study: T-cells induced by COVID infection can respond to new SARS-CoV-2 variants, Our immune system evolves to fight coronavirus variants].
Evidence also shows that natural immunity protects against reinfection [see Study of 10-million person-identifiable PCR-test in Denmark shows young people protected from SARS-CoV-2 reinfection and COVID-recovered patients are protected from reinfection, no need to discriminate against them].
How did the CDC think that it would get away from this lie?
