Nature Journal: SARS-CoV-2 infection induces lasting immunity

In this May 27, 2021 article written for Nature, Ewen Callaway reports on the results of a study showing that immunity triggered by SARS-CoV-2 infection is long-lasting.

The study, released by the journal last May 24, 2021, says that when the virus is cleared from the body, “longer-lasting cells make antibodies: memory B cells patrol the blood for reinfection, while bone marrow plasma cells (BMPCs) hideaway in bones, trickling out antibodies for decades”.

To read the actual research, see https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-021-03647-4.

Editor’s Note: This research corroborates the results of various other researches which show that natural immunity leads to long-term immunity [see New study finds mild COVID creates lasting antibody producing cells, Another study shows natural COVID-19 immunity lasts for substantial period of time]. It also confirms what health experts have been saying for over a year: natural immunity works, and the vaccine is unnecessary [see Your immune system can protect you from COVID and all its future variants, anyone who says otherwise is lying, Johns Hopkins professor: Ignore the CDC, natural immunity works, Pro-vaccine internal medicine doctor explains why he won’t take the COVID vaccine, and Pro-vaccine immunologist: “I would probably prefer to have natural immunity”].

It also means that this article has just proven to us that our governments, as well as the World Health Organization (WHO), have been lying to us when they tried to write off natural immunity and pushed for the vaccine despite its risks.
