In an April 20, 2022 article published in Phil Star Global, Sheila Crisostomo reported that the National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) admitted that fully vaccinating some 90 million Filipinos by June 30 will not likely be achieved.

According to the report, at a public briefing, NVOC head and Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje said they may not meet this goal by the end of the Duterte administration. “It’s difficult. We are first to admit that.” Cabotaje added they are now focusing on the initial goal of fully immunizing some 77 million Filipinos, which will require the administration of 900,000 jabs per day.

According to Cabotaje, many people are not yet convinced to get the jabs, while others are in remote areas of the country. Cabotaje also hoped they could go full-blast in vaccination activities for the rest of April and then May and June.

Based on the above numbers, how many are eligible Filipinos for covid jabs? Provided we count the pediatric population, which starts at 5 years old. Considering this, we got the 2018 Philippine population because most of those born in 2017 are almost 5 years old this year. There are 105,172,925 qualified individuals for covid inoculation if everyone is still living. Assuming that the government used the 2018 data, there is virtually 132% inoculation uptake, with 64% fully vaccinated [roughly 67M double dosed]. How did they come up with 139 million total who have taken the jab? [See the confusing trackers they have, or there must be a sound explanation for this.]

Cabotaje must be right to assume that they won’t be able to meet their goalpost. As early as 2021, there were already thousands who didn’t return for the second dose, thus the implementation of restrictions and other policies. [See IATF: 50% of vaccine recipients have not returned for their second dose].

The authorities have neglected to look at people who have suffered from adverse events on the first dose or died before the second dose. [See  New study: Vaccines are the likely cause of adverse effects and deaths following vaccination.] There are multifold known adverse events, thousands are fatal, yet DOH keeps on flaunting that these experimental jabs safe and effective. Adverse events and fatality following the experimental jab should be factors for the current government to reconsider.
