This August 5, 2021 article by Tyler Durden for Zero Hedge covers the latest pronouncements from Dr. Anthony Fauci who said, “We already know that people who get breakthrough infections and don’t go on to get advanced disease requiring hospitalization, they too are susceptible to long COVID…You’re not exempt from long COVID if you get a breakthrough infection”.

Fauci also expressed his concern for other viral strains that could push aside delta. He said, “If another one comes along that has an equally high capability of transmitting but also is much more severe, then we could really be in trouble”.

In the article, Durden also cites a study that suggests that the Lambda variant of SARS-CoV-2 may be vaccine-resistant.

Second, though there is a possibility that “super variants” will arise, there is also a possibility that SARS-CoV-2 will continue its evolutionary path and become a low-impact virus [see HART: Good news being ignored by mainstream media, COVID is becoming milder]. Omitting this possibility from official statements does not contribute to the mental and emotional well-being of people who have been suffering from year-long restrictions. Why does Fauci omit this more positive possibility, and why does he continue to promote fear? If he truly cares for people’s health and well-being, he wouldn’t go this route. Third, if the Lambda variant will indeed be vaccine-resistant, then why should you take the vaccine now that it is proving to be ineffective in the long term?
