Cebu City EOC: 6% of COVID-19 positive traced individuals are fully vaccinated

In this article, Letigio reports on the results of the week-long contact tracing conducted by the Cebu City Emergency Operations Office (EOC), which found that fully vaccinated individuals make up 6% of the COVID test-positive cases in the city. The percentage of partially vaccinated patients who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 is only 2%.

Second, can we just please stop saying that these vaccines will confer herd immunity? Third, we still seriously question the capacity of these vaccines to protect populations [there is evidence that these vaccines do not work for everyone, see COVID ‘vaccine failure’ more likely if you have a weakened immune system, and they can actually cause harm, see New study: Vaccines are the likely cause of adverse effects and deaths following vaccination]. If these reasons are still not enough to cause the suspension of the vaccine rollout, we can only say, “ay, ambot na lang” [Cebuano expression, roughly translated, could mean ‘I don’t know anymore’]. People simply hear what they want to hear.
