COVID spiking in states with high vaccination rate

In this March 18, 2021 article by Nicholas Reimann for Forbes, we discover that in the US, states with highest vaccination rates are experiencing the highest increases in COVID cases.

According to this article, only two states with rising COVID cases – Mississippi and New Hampshire – are below the US average in terms of vaccination rate. Health authorities blame the spike in cases to new, more contagious strains.

Vaccine manufacturers have been saying that the experimental vaccines will not cause COVID-19 as they don’t contain the virus strain, and yet we have heard of news of individuals testing positive after vaccination. Meanwhile in Bohol, 27 HCWs tested positive last March 27, 2021^[4]https://pia.gov.ph/news/articles/1070850, which consisted of 19% of local transmission in the town. Though it is not clear from the Bohol report whether all these HCWs were all vaccinated, it is highly possible that they were all inoculated as vaccinations in the town began on the first week of March and HCWs were prioritized. In all of the cases above, HCWs who tested positive for COVID-19 were either asymptomatic or experienced mild symptoms only. Health authorities claim that these infections were could be due to the fact that the HCWs only received one dose. A research published by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said, “In some countries the vaccination programs coincided with a surge in detected COVID-19 cases and increased burden on the healthcare system”. Most experts blame the infection on the patient, saying that “increased risk of infection is linked to behaviors that increase the risk of exposure, such as going to restaurants and bars without masking and physical distancing”. But wasn’t the purpose of the vaccine to bring our life back to normal?

We must remember that the vaccine was never meant to prevent infection, but rather, it was only developed to prevent serious complications from COVID-19 [see Fauci: Early COVID-19 vaccines will only prevent symptoms, not block infection]. And since COVID-19 is not a threat to most people, then not everyone needs the vaccine [Individuals below 70 have a 99% chance of survival if they contract the disease, see CDC updates planning scenarios, shows IFR lower than flu]. Why then are we forcing entire societies to vaccinate, when most people can overcome the disease? Why are countries trying to impose a vaccine passport when the vaccine cannot prevent infection of the virus? Why are we still counting cases when we know already that the number of cases have no real impact on deaths and clinical outcomes?

In the Philippines, our government touts the vaccine as the “end of the pandemic”.
