In this November 10, 2021 article published by Caldron Pool, we learn that a senator from a major political party in Queensland, Australia is calling for the suspension of the vaccine rollout for children below 18 years.

According to the report, Liberal National Party of Queensland (LNP) senator Gerard Rennick wrote a letter to Prime Minister Scott Morrison following the death of a 14-year old girl who took the Moderna vaccine.

“I ask that the vaccine rollout for children under 18 years of age be suspended immediately…If ever there was a reason when the precautionary principle should be applied, then the safety of our children should be it,” Rennick said.

Rennick notes that several countries have already banned the use of Moderna for young people due to safety concerns. He also says that despite being made in the US, the FDA has not granted Moderna an emergency use authorization for 12-to-17-year-olds.

In addition, Rennick calls on the government to pull “not just Moderna, but all vaccines from circulation for those under 18.” He continues, “For the last 18 months, Premiers have used the precautionary principle to destroy our country by shutting borders, imposing lockdowns, and keeping our children out of schools…If the precautionary principle can be used for COVID then why can’t it be applied in regards to vaccines, especially when it comes to our children.”

Editor’s Note: We must remember that these vaccines are still in the experimental stage, and it will take decades before we can truly know the impact of these medical devices on our long-term health. Why are we rushing to inject our children with a vaccine that has no safety data?

Unlike traditional vaccines which have taken decades to test and develop, COVID vaccines have been churned out in less than a year. They have been tested for only a few months, on a small group of healthy individuals. In the case of mRNA vaccines (which are the only vaccines approved for the use of children), the technology used to produce, as well as the ingredients of each vaccine has not been proven to be safe.
