Exercise Twice As Effective As Anti-Depressants

Exercise Twice As Effective As Anti-Depressants

This February 14, 2024 article published by the Telegraph discusses a study indicating that exercise is twice more effective at treating depression compared to antidepressants.

The study, which involved more than 14,000 people with major depression disorder, tested different forms of exercise to determine which one was most effective. The results found that antidepressants on their own, were less effective than either exercise or therapy. For example, antidepressants improved a person’s symptoms by 26% while walking or jogging improved the symptoms by 63%.

Editor’s Note: This study brings refreshing insights into the treatment of depression, highlighting the potential of using exercise as primary therapy for depression. Can we expect doctors to start prescribing exercise instead of anti-depressants any time soon?

We seriously doubt it. First of all, pharmaceutical companies will not allow this to happen. Second, some people will continue to depend on anti-depressants because it is “easier” and “more convenient”. Who wants to sweat when there is a magic pill they can use to solve all their problems?

See, this mindset is not limited to antidepressants. Anyone who gets sick and wants immediate relief will fall into the trap of the “magic pill”. This is the reason why people were so ready to accept the COVID-19 shots despite their dangers. We have been programmed to seek the easiest and the most convenient, and this is what the enemies of humanity are counting on.
