Seizing Private Land, Next Step In the Climate Agenda

0

In this December 13, 2023, special report for The Epoch Times, Kevin Stocklin discusses how the push for renewable energy, particularly in the form of wind and solar projects, could lead to governments seizing private land.

According to the report, achieving net-zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050 would require 250,000 square miles or 160 million acres of land. Unfortunately, around 70% of land in the 48 states is privately owned, and many owners refuse to allow solar panels, wind turbines, power lines, and carbon pipelines to be installed on their property. To overcome this resistance, there are increasing calls for the use of eminent domain to seize private land for renewable energy development.
