In this article, Steenhuysen reports on the results of a new study which showed that T-cells developed from an infection of the original strain of the SARS-CoV-2 could also protect against the three most concerning virus variants identified in the UK, South Africa, and Brazil. Steenhuysen said, “They found the T cell responses remained largely intact and could recognize virtually all mutations in the variants studied.”

Andrew Redd of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and lead for the study said that larger studies are needed to confirm the findings. Redd adds that continued monitoring for variants that escape both antibody and T cell protection is needed.

To be honest, there is nothing groundbreaking about this study, except perhaps the fact that it can be considered as an admission from the NIAID that the human immune system is superior compared to the COVID vaccines. Its findings are only a confirmation of decades-old knowledge in virology and immunology [experts have long been saying that new variants have no significant impact on clinical outcomes of COVID patients, see New York Times: The coronavirus is mutating, and that’s fine]. It is also a confirmation that the best tool for ending this “pandemic” is still a healthy immune system [see Our immune system is the biggest mystery during this coronavirus outbreak].

With falling vaccination uptake in countries like UK and the US (where there are enough vaccines to inoculate their entire population), and the vaccine’s inability to protect against infection from the original and new variants, herd immunity will still come from natural immunity [see Mass vaccination programs are failing, mainstream media attempt to misinform people and Pro-vaccine immunologist: “I would probably prefer to have natural immunity”]. This research is only an assurance that it is safe to go through the natural immunity route, as it shows that the immune system can evolve and fight against future variants [see Our immune system evolves to fight coronavirus variants]. This article also highlights the futility of COVID vaccination, SARS-CoV-2 is a rapidly mutating virus, and there is no way for vaccines to cope up with the changes [see We must start planning for a permanent pandemic].

We must remember that governments kept us locked down for ONE YEAR waiting for the vaccines to be released. But it won’t last very long and the false narrative will come crashing down.
