Countries have refused to sign the Pandemic Treaty citing issues such as “lack of equity in terms of national medical supply access and possible threats to national sovereignty”. According to a US administration official, their country is still committed to the process, but it will take another 1-2 years of talks.
In a press release, WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus cited the COVID death count as the main impetus for the Pandemic Treaty, adding that the “whole world was taken hostage”. He adds his hope for the revival of the pandemic talks, saying, “I remain confident that you still will because where there is a will, there is a way. I know that there remains among you a common will to get this done”.
Despite the failure of the Pandemic Treaty, amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) are advancing.

They failed to mention that the virus would not have been created if countries did not fund gain-of-function research. They have also forgotten that it was governments who imposed the lockdowns, and drug regulators who made ivermectin illegal. They want us to think that we wanted this Pandemic Treaty, and are telling us that just because things are better, we are forgetting why the Treaty was needed in the first place. Well, they must have been confident that the talks would breeze through without opposition.
