In this September 17, 2021 article for Green Med Info, we learn of a formal petition for a federal grand jury investigation into the conduct of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The petition was filed by Oregon State Senators Kim Thatcher and Dennis Linthicum.

In their official letter, the signatories included eight exhibits and 20 references as evidence showing the clear need to investigate the two agencies for willful misconduct. The petition was filed last August 16, 2021, but the parties involved agreed to delay the release of the petition to the public.
