Uruguay Halts COVID Vaccination For Children Under 13, Judge Wants Government To Turn Over Pfizer Contracts For Review
The following article was written by Guillermo Garat and was published by The Washington Post last July 7, 2022.
According to the report, Uruguay has been forced to stop COVID vaccination for children under 13 after an order from Judge Alejandro Recarey.
Recarey issued the injunction for government officials to present documents relating to contracts signed with vaccine manufacturers. He wants to determine whether there are clauses in the contract which promise civil and criminal immunity due to any adverse reactions from the vaccine. Recarey also wants information on the chemical composition of the shots.
The government said that it cannot produce the documents because they are bound by the confidentiality clause in the contract.
