Redfield: Pandemic Response Was Politicized, Disappointed At NIH For Cancelling Scientists Who Offered Different Hypothesis of COVID Origins

In this July 26, 2022 article for The Epoch Times, Jack Phillips reports on the recent statements by Anthony Fauci regarding the origins of COVID-19.
According to Fauci, he has an “open mind” but he still believes that the SARS-CoV-2 virus occurred naturally.
Former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Robert Redfield rejected Fauci’s claims. He suspects that COVID “had to be educated in the laboratory to gain the efficient human-to-human transmission capability that it has”. He adds, “There’s very little evidence, if you really want to be critical, to support [the natural emergence theory”.
Redfield goes on to compare other coronaviruses such as the Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrom (MERS) and the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrom (SARS) which do not have the same transmission capacity as COVID.
Redfield says that he is “disappointed at the National Institutes of Health for not leading an objective evaluation from the beginning…it is really antithetical to the science where they took a very strong position that people like myself who are somehow conspiratorial just because we have a different scientific hypothesis”.

As the COVID scamdemic gets revealed, those who still have a conscience would start to shift positions. Those who have a lot to lose because of their participation in the fake pandemic might make the same change, or they might just latch on to the next pandemic in an effort to keep their control, and their profits, going.
