In an October 13, 2021 article published in Public Senat, Guillaume Jacquot reported that the French Senate rejected the bill establishing compulsory COVID vaccination in the country.

The article attached below is a transcript of the Senate hearing which discussed and debated the said bill. The bill, which would have mandated COVID vaccination for general populations was introduced by the Socialist group. If passed, it would have taken effect on January 1, 2022, and COVID-19 injection would have been added to the 11 vaccines imposed on children born from 2018.

The supposed vaccine mandate states that those who refuse vaccination would be subject to a fine of €135 under the French Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 519. The penalty could rise to as much as €1500 for repeated offenses if citizens opposed it. This parliamentary initiative will therefore not go further because it was rejected on October 13, 2021, in public session, by 262 votes (against the bill) to 64.

Some leaders work from their own interests and put the citizen’s best interests on the back burner. If these politicians keenly consider ways to resolve the health crisis, they could have delved into available options and recommendations of scientists and other principled doctors, not big-pharma affiliated ones, to circumvent biases.

It is simply unfathomable idiocy to push humanity to submit to the injection when there are massive reports of adverse events and the vaccinated still gets infected and could still transmit the virus. Nonetheless, we should appeal to the conscience of other leaders and those who have the genuine fear of the Sovereign Being. France appeared to be hopeless when its President and other leaders implemented some unconstitutional mandates, but now, learning this kind of development gives us hope. We have to keep pushing back if the leadership seems detrimental to citizens’ wellbeing; we have to protect our constitution and the bill of rights.
