Power struggle between FDA and Big Pharma comes in full display

On September 15, 2021, Jack Phillips published two articles for The Epoch Times. One was entitled “Pfizer Says COVID-19 Vaccine Efficacy Weakens Over Time“. The other, “FDA Says Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccines Still Effective, Boosters May Not Be Needed“.

This is just one of a series of spats between the Big Pharma company and the US regulator. Who is right and who is wrong? Where is the data that proves Pfizer is indeed losing efficacy? Because as far as the FDA is concerned, there is no reason to rollout boosters.

The irony here is that as FDA and Pfizer continue to battle it out in public, the vaccine agenda is already unraveling, and they are providing the fuel. If Pfizer’s efficacy is dropping, why would any sane government use the same one for boosters? Anyone who can still think knows the implication of this: using a waning vaccine means that people will become dependent on it for protection, which is exactly what the Big Pharma company wants. It needs to assure its long-term market through boosters, and people are now seeing the truth of this.

On the other hand, FDA’s continued refusal to approve booster shots is going against the pronouncement of no less than Joe Biden. If they back out now, then people will know that they have succumbed to the political pressure [especially since top FDA officials have gone as far as publish a rebuttal of the government’s claim that boosters are needed, see Top FDA virologists, WHO scientists: No credible evidence for COVID booster shots]. The question is, how long will FDA keep this up? Will they finally agree to the booster shots as soon as the resigning leaders have left [see Top FDA officials resign over booster plan, says White House announced policy before agency approved it]. If this is the case, then they would have lost all public trust left in the institution, and in the process, compromising the entire vaccine rollout.

Obviously, the US FDA is in a precarious situation, as it is also becoming clear that drug regulators are being put under extreme pressure to follow the vaccine narrative. Pfizer only “admitted” to a waning efficacy because that is a requirement for the booster shots to be approved [see Media conditioning vaccinated for more COVID shots].

Now it is understandable why Pfizer wants booster shoots approved. It wants to maximize its profits and create an unlimited market for its products. The bigger question is: why is the White House pushing for it when its own scientists are saying otherwise? [See CDC advisors raise concerns about ‘over-vaccination’ and ask the White House for more data to show boosters are needed, Governments ignoring advice of their own health regulators, pushing child vaccination, public trust eroding].
