Canadian Freedom Fighters Fight Back: Sues Trudeau, Freeland For Freezing Their Bank Accounts During Freedom Convoy Protests

Tamara Lich, Chris Barber, Tom Marazzo, Danny Bulford and other Freedom Convoy protestors who were targeted by Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland have filed lawsuits against the Federal Government. The lawsuit comes just weeks after a Canadian Federal Court judge ruled that the use of the Emergencies Act was a violation of the country’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms [see Court Rules Trudeau’s Use Of Emergency Act on Canadian Truckers Illegal].

Editor’s Note: The outcome of this lawsuit is important because it will become a precedent for future Freedom protests. It will help define protections for citizens’ right to protest and express their resistance to government policies that do not serve their interests.

We sure hope the Canadian legal system is still alive and functioning independently.
