Bernie Sanders: Elites Are Creating War, Undermining Democracy, Destabilizing The World
In this article for The Nation, Bernie Sanders, the longest-serving Independent in the US congress criticizes how the elite’s quest for wealth concentration is fueling the conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza, and Yemen.
He says: “Throughout history, massive concentrations of wealth have brought about more war, undermined democracy, and destabilized the world…we live in a world where a small number of multi-billionaires and multinational corporations exert enormous economic and political country over virtually every country on earth. This is not conspiracy thinking. This is the reality we are experiencing.”
