DOH Caught Up In The Monkeypox Hysteria, Plans To Procure Experimental Vaccine

In a press briefing, Department of Health (DOH) officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire said that the Philippines are procuring monkeypox vaccines, but the earliest delivery will be in 2023. The report on this was written by Beatrice Pinlac and published by The Philippine Daily Inquirer last August 10, 2022.

According to Vergeire, the government agency is currently exploring avenues to acquire even a minimal amount so they can be given first to our health care workers.
