On October 18, 2021, Planet Today News reported various athletes suffering from adverse events after the covid jabs. Some athletes were banned from playing because of jab refusal.

According to the report, NBA player Brandon Goodwin recently admitted that he suffered from blood clots after getting the COVID-19 vaccine. He said that this has ended his season and compromised his career. Adding insult to injury, the Atlanta Hawks player said that the NBA told him not to talk about his ordeal. Goodwin posted a video in Twitch saying: “I was fine until then. I was fine until I took the vaccine. I was fine. People trying to tell you, ‘No. It’s not the vaccine.’ How do you know? You don’t know. Yes, the vaccine ended my season. One thousand percent.”

Also, Tennis pro-Jeremy Chardy had to conclude his season early because of complications from the Pfizer jab, which he received between the Olympics and the U.S. Open. He mentioned he has been experiencing problems such as movement-limiting pain since having the jab that makes it impossible for him to train and play competitively. He said: “I turn 35 in February, so for the moment, I’m maybe a little bit negative, but this is the first time the idea that next season might be my last has crossed my mind. I’m thinking about it… It’s difficult because I was enjoying myself, and I wanted to play longer.”

There are ostracized athletes for holding the line for their right to life and refusal to take covid-dose. Kyrie Irving is now barred from playing NBA home games with the Brooklyn Nets in New York over his rejection to receive the jab. The team has also prohibited him from practicing with them. Also, Novak Djokovic, who is ranked No. 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has said that he is opposed to the vaccine and may even sit out the Australian Open if getting the jab is a requirement for participation. Meanwhile, No. 2, Daniil Medvedev has also said that he will not get the jab for medical reasons.
