The state government announced that there were no active cases of COVID 19 in 33 districts of Uttar Pradesh, while 67 districts have not reported a single new case of COVID in the last 24 hours. The state also adds that it has a total of 199 active cases, with a positivity rate now at 0.01%. The recovery rate in the state has increased to 98.7%. The announcement also said that only 11 new COVID cases and there are no reports of death were reported in the last 24 hours.

Hence, their current COVID numbers are not something that can be ignored. If Uttar Pradesh can overcome the COVID threat through early treatment with Ivermectin and other repurposed drugs, then the entire world can do it using the same.
