Evidence shows that Ivermectin can prevent and treat COVID-19

The following document is a condensed summary of the comprehensive review on the use and efficacy of Ivermectin for COVID-19 prevention and treatment. The review was conducted by the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance led by Prof. Paul Marik. The full review may be found on the organization’s website.

This is the same document referred to by Dr. Pierre Kory during the Senate Committee hearing on Ivermectin conducted last December 8, 2020 [but is different from the meta analysis of Ivermectin studies published here, see Ivermectin: Another drug proven to treat COVID-19].

In the committee hearing, Dr. Kory said, “I am severely troubled by the fact that the NIH, the FDA, and the CDC, I do not know of any task force that was assigned or compiled to review repurposed drugs in an attempt to treat this disease. Everything has been about novel and/or expensive pharmaceutical engineered drugs. Things like tocilizumab, and remdesevir, monoclonal antibodies and vaccines…mountains of data have emerged from many centers and countries around the world showing the miraculous effectiveness of Ivermectin. It basically obliterates transmission of this virus. If you take it, you will not get sick”.

Editor’s Note: Why does a physician need to beg government health agencies to look at the data supporting a drug that can resolve the “greatest health problem” of 2020? Why do politicians refuse to look at the science when experiences of numerous doctors are showing that Ivermectin can save lives?

The point of this article is that COVID-19 can be prevented and treated with drugs that have already been in circulation for decades [another drug which can help ease the COVID panic is hydroxychloroquine, see Hydroxychloroquine can dramatically ease the COVID-19 crisis]. There is no need for expensive treatment protocol and risky vaccines.
