Fauci and NIH Chief Colluded to Discredit Three Experts Who Penned the Great Barrington Declaration

In this December 19, 2021 article written for Daily Mail, Stephen Lepore reports on the emails of Anthony Fauci and National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Francis Collins showing their attempt at a “devastating takedown” of the Great Barrington Declaration.

The email was first released to the public by Phil Magness, senior research faculty at and interim research and education director at the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER), a libertarian think tank that also sponsored the Declaration.

The report also included several articles wherein Collins and Fauci were quoted dismantling the “herd immunity” approach.

Editor’s Note: This is probably one of the most important proof showing that Fauci and Collins have been very active at discrediting scientists who express differing opinions from what they put forward. It is also proof that the media is a part of the conspiracy to bury news that would have otherwise helped resolve the “pandemic”.

Jay Bhattacharya, one of the co-authors of the Declaration, was right: if Fauci and Collins were both concerned about public health, they would have at least tried to dialogue first. To decide to “takedown” the Great Barrington Declaration without putting forth proof that its proposals will not work is a clear sign that going into this pandemic, both Fauci and Collins already had a narrative in mind. Their interest was not about gathering information to resolve the pandemic. It was about safeguarding a narrative that pushed forward their self-serving agenda.

People might say: “but it could have just been a conversation between two colleagues who wanted to prevent misinformation from spreading”. For these people we say: The Great Barrington Declaration was signed by over 60,000 health professionals all over the world. That may not be a “majority”, but that is a substantial number that should not have been ignored by a government deep in the middle of a “deadly pandemic.” The priority of governments should have been to utilize all tools they can to prevent the failure of societies while it prevents the spread of a “deadly disease”. Fauci and Collins have just shown us that their primary priority during this period was to protect the narrative. No wonder Fauci’s pronouncements have been confusing, to say the least.
