POLITICAL CRISIS IN POLAND COULD LEAD TO DIRECT WAR BETWEEN NATO AND RUSSIA
On January 9, 2024, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk ordered the police to arrest two sitting members of the Polish Parliament.1https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/01/polish-pm-tusk-illegally-arrests-two-opposition-mps/ The arrest took place inside the Polish Presidential Palace where the Polish President, Andzrej Duda, keeps an office. PM Tusk claimed that the two members of parliament, Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik, were guilty of an alleged violation of law. Polish President Duda pardoned the two in 2015 but, recently, the Supreme Court of Poland decided that the pardon was not valid. However, the Constitutional Court of Poland gave a different opinion and judged that the pardon was valid.2https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g79fm2luHbIThe forced arrest has thrown Poland into political turmoil as thousands of citizens are organizing to show their support for the President of Poland and the two arrested members of Parliament
Note by Nicanor Perlas. The crisis in Poland may seem to be a local affair of the Polish people. However, if one understands the underlying drama, this event could potentially lead ultimately to the desired objective of NATO for direct war with Russia.
As can be seen in the Gateway Pundit article and other sources,3https://twitter.com/JackPosobiec. See his interviews with Steve Bannon and Alex Jones. These videos are posted on his Twitter account. The dangers of a war between NATO/US and Russia are also discussed in the Alex Jones interview cited in Reference #3. PM Tusk is viewed as friendly, in general, to the World Economic Forum, NATO, and the agenda of the New World Order including a digital Euro and mass migration. On the other hand, President Duda and the two arrested MPs are viewed as protective of the national sovereignty and interests of Poland. The Party of Duda was the leading winner in the recent Polish elections. However, through coalition politics, Tusk emerged as the Prime Minister of the Party.
In this clash of parties, Poland had been ambivalent with its stance on the war between Ukraine and Russia. Neither could come to a dominant national position in the war in Ukraine. With the current power grab by PM Tusk, this ambivalence could result in a definite direction. Unless peacefully neutralized, Poland will move closer to NATO/US which has been wanting to have a direct war with Russia.
With PM Tusk in control, Poland, a member of NATO, will most likely take bolder steps to support Ukraine whether in soldiers or weapons. When that happens, and Polish soldiers get killed in Ukraine, then NATO Article 5 will come into play. That Article enables NATO to come to the defense of a NATO member.4https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/topics_110496.htm NATO will now have the legal pretext it needs to declare war on Russia directly and go beyond its current proxy war with Russia through Ukraine. That would be tragic not only for Poland, NATO, and Russia but for the whole world.
