UKHSA Officials Admit: No Evidence Masks Protected Vulnerable from COVID
A rapid review report published by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) found no single piece of scientific research which could prove that high-quality masks protect the clinically vulnerable from catching COVID. The report on this was published by The Telegraph last April 12, 2023.
According to the authors of the report, “The review did not identify any studies for inclusion, and so could not provide no evidence to answer the research question…No studies matching the inclusion criteria were found, so no evidence could be presented”.
The rapid review looked at 4,371 studies. Data until September 2022 were also included in the review.
Editor’s Note: We include this article on this website in light of the reinstatement of masking in several cities in the Philippines, including Baguio City.
How much have we learned from the last few years? Are we still going to tolerate these ignorant decisions by our leaders?
