Dr. Mike Yeadon: The pandemic is over

Dr. Yeadon criticizes the push for expanded testing, and explains that half, if not all, of COVID tests are false positives. He adds that important indicators such as hospitalizations, ICU utilization, and deaths are all dropping, which means that that the “pandemic is fundamentally over”.

Dr. Yeadon also says that a second wave for coronaviruses is not normal, and comparing the SARS-CoV-2 with the Spanish flu was incorrect since they are of different virus types. He also says that evidence is showing that the tapering off of deaths due to COVID is a natural process, and is not a result of any human intervention. Dr. Yeadon calls out his colleague, Prof. Neil Ferguson, for his role in the pandemic. He says: “most scientists don’t accept it [Ferguson’s model] was even fairly right”.

Today, even with the encouraging results from Sweden, countries continue to hold on to mitigation strategies. Some parts of UK have reimposed lockdowns and curfews, while in the Philippines, some provinces have requested to placed in more stringent community quarantines. Meanwhile, media messaging is preparing citizens for a “second wave”.
