The WHO published this 19-point article to help people understand the nature of the novel coronavirus. By doing so, the WHO hopes to alleviate the panic caused by the disease, as well as educate people so that they can effectively protect themselves from infection. 
Some of the points in this article address fake news circulating on social media.
