CDC update shows only 6% of deaths was caused by COVID-19 alone
The September 2, 2020 update released by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows that 94% of all COVID-19 deaths has at least 2.6 other diseases. Only 6% of all death certificates processed listed COVID-19 as the only cause mentioned [we will remember that in early April, several medical professionals were already raising the issue with death reporting, see This is how COVID-19 death rates in the US are manipulated].

Editor’s Note: The latest update from the CDC strengthens a point we have been stressing since the beginning of this pandemic – there is a difference between deaths WITH COVID and deaths DUE TO COVID. The 6% being recorded by the CDC still belongs to the upper scale, as data from Italy and other countries shows a much lower death ratio [see 99% of coronavirus deaths in Italy had other illnesses and Why Russia has a very low COVID-19 death rate].
Take note also that this 6% being mentioned is the percentage of death which may be attributed to COVID alone. It is not the case fatality rate (CFR) nor the infection fatality rate (IFR)[see The tale of two fatality rates to understand the difference between CFR and IFR]. CFR for COVID-only deaths for the period covered by the report is at 0.18%. The IFR for COVID-only deaths will be much lower as current studies are showing that official statistics underestimate the number of coronavirus infections by as much as 50-80 times [read Cruise ship experience shows more symptomless SARS-COV-2, USC-LA County antibody suggests true COVID-19 infections higher than official count and Antibody testing shows coronavirus infected a lot more people than previously thought].
The CDC update also highlights an important fact that has been neglected by various governments – the more illnesses a person has, the greater their risk is at developing life threatening symptoms of the disease. This means that if governments wish to prevent deaths in the long term, they must focus on boosting the overall health of their citizens, instead of promoting vaccines. A healthier lifestyle is a natural, sustainable, and cheaper solution [vaccines have side effects, see Fine print in vaccine packages link it to hundreds of medical conditions and Vaccines: Trojan Horses for Global Sterilization and Surveillance.
