Large numbers of health care workers in US refuse COVID-19 vaccine
This January 2, 2020 report published by Forbes reports on the data related to vaccination among health care workers. Ohio governor Mike DeWine disclosed last December 30, 2020 that about 60% of nursing home workers have refused to get vaccinated. Meanwhile, the post attached below shows that health care workers from other state are also refusing to undergo vaccination. Some nurses cite political reasons for not availing of the vaccines, “they were concerned how politics influenced the development of the vaccine”.
A recent survey by Kaiser Family Foundation shows that at least 29% of healthcare workers were hesitant to receive the vaccine, citing potential side effects and lack of faith of government to ensure that vaccines are safe.
Editor’s Note: Can we still say that COVID vaccine-averse health workers are “conspiracy theorists”? If there is any group that is directly seeing the health impact of COVID-19 to their patients, it is the health care workers. Why would they refuse the vaccine that promises to control the spread of the “deadly” COVID? What do they kn0w about vaccines? Shouldn’t governments pay attention to the concern they are raising? [Several experts have also called on the suspension of all COVID vaccine trials. As Pfizer and Moderna vaccines utilize mRNA technology which have never been used before, mass vaccination of their COVID vaccine are nothing more than experiments on the entire human population.
