More than 5,000 people who received mRNA vaccine experienced adverse effects

More than 5,000 people who received mRNA vaccine experienced adverse effects

The following document released by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) monitors the cases of anaphylaxis among those who received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. According to the document, two cases of anaphylaxis has been recorded in the UK while the US had six cases [see UK drug regulator: People with life-threatening allergic reactions to vaccine or food should not get vaccinated and Health workers got emergency treatment after Pfizer vaccine shot].

The document also showed that of those who received the first dose of the vaccine, 5,052 had health impact events, defined by the CDC as “unable to perform normal daily activities, unable to work, required care from doctor or health care professional”. As of December 18, 215,362 individuals have already received the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

Editor’s Note: Based on the preliminary data released by the CDC, 2.3% of those who have received the first dose of the vaccine experienced a heath impact event (also formerly referred to as adverse effects). Now, imagine if half of the world’s 7.8 billion people were vaccinated, and 2.3% of those vaccinated experience an adverse effect, that would still total to 89.7 million people who will be unable to perform their normal activities for at least one day (possibly more). Compare that to the number of COVID-19 cases today, January 9 2020, totaling at 90,226,163, 93% of whom have already recovered. Does the benefits truly outweigh the risks?

Take note that in the US, the first people to have received the vaccine are frontline medical workers1https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/23/world/heres-how-the-us-government-plans-to-distribute-the-first-covid-19-vaccines.html, hence a majority of the adverse reactions we are hearing from the news these days are from this sector. We still do not know how many among the elderly community, particularly those living in care homes, have received the first dose. Are they included in the data from the CDC? Or are the 5,052 individuals with health impact events all front liners? Aside from anaphylaxis, what are the other side effects of the vaccines?

CDC collecting data about the different side effects should tell you that the vaccine has not been thoroughly tested. The authorities have no idea whether this vaccine is safe or not [and there are many evidences showing that this vaccine may have the same effect as all other coronavirus vaccines of the past, see Briefing document on Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine shows evidence of pathogenic priming among older adults and SARS-CoV-2 vaccines can make you sick, volunteers in human trials uninformed of risks].
