The following 8-minute video is part of a 2-hour-long hearing of the Senate Homeland Security Committee on the origins of COVID. It features Sen. Josh Hawley, who slams Dr. Robert Garry, one of the authors of the 2020 journal article claiming that SARS-CoV-2 is NOT from a laboratory.¹

Hawley questions how Garry could state in February 2020, “I really can’t think of a plausible, natural scenario where you can get from the bat virus or one very similar to it…I just can’t figure out how this gets accomplished in nature… Of course, in a lab, it would be easy”, and then conclude against the lab leak theory in under a month.

Hawley condemns scientists for hiding behind “science” to escape accountability for their part in government propaganda. He says, “Dr. Garry, you have disgracefully participated in shameful propaganda that has been one of the worst chapters in this country’s history…it is wrong to countenance that and say, ‘Oh, I just had nothing to do with it, gee, I wish I could have done better’. You should have done better. And because you didn’t, people have suffered”.

Editor’s Note: In October 2022, The Atlantic published an article entitled Let’s Declare a Pandemic Amnesty, which urged people to “focus on the future and fix the problems we still need to solve”. According to that article, “misguided” policies during the height of COVID should be forgiven because authorities didn’t know any better. Debates about who was wrong and who was right should stop, the article says, because going back would not help us in dealing with the challenges ahead.

While we do believe that it was important to transcend the challenges of the COVID scamdemic, we did not agree with that article due to one major flaw: it was asking us to forget the crimes that the government purposely committed against its people [we hope you still remember how our governments imprisoned us against our will, how they forced us to take an experimental product and then threatened to prevent us from engaging in society if we did not follow their orders. Asking us to “forgive and forget” the authorities for not knowing any better is equal to forcing us to accept mediocrity in science and government policy. It is asking us to forget the violations done against our person, to forget how governments promoted discrimination and inhumanity.

The government’s ” mistakes ” violated key constitutional provisions that protected human rights and civil liberties. Authorities overstepped their power, so they must be held accountable. In the same way, Dr. Garry and his co-authors were part of the lie that placed countries worldwide under authoritarian rule. They cannot be so easily forgiven when they show no remorse for what they have done.

We want to remind our readers: we knew, just by reading the science and using logic, that draconian COVID policies had no scientific basis [read COVID-19 PANDEMIC: THE PHILIPPINE EXPERIENCE., Will the real WHO please stand up?]. Why, then, did so many scientists willingly accept the inhumane policies instituted by governments worldwide? They can’t all be under the globalists’ payroll, can they?
