In an address to the international Symposium entitled “Man-Woman: Image of God. Towards an Anthropology of Vocations” held last March 1-2, 2024, Pope Francis said that gender theory is an “ugly ideology of our time”. He adds, “it erases all distinctions between men and women…[To cancel this difference] is to erase humanity”.
