WSJ Editor Complains at WEF: We No Longer Own The News
In a discussion forum at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum, Emma Tucker, Editor-in-Chief of the Wall Street Journal said, “If you go back really not that long ago, as I say, we owned the news. We were the gatekeepers, and we very much owned the facts as well. If it is said in the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times, then that was a fact. Nowadays, people can go to all sorts of different sources for the need and they’re much more questioning about what we’re saying”.
Editor’s Note: Legacy media has no one else to blame but itself. When they abandoned the ethics of journalism and became part of the propaganda machine, they lost the trust of citizens around the world. Of course, they will never admit to their mistake, choosing instead to play games by tagging truth as “misinformation” and “conspiracy”.
We have said this repeatedly, and we will say it again now. We are in the middle of an information war. Some seek to control the truth, censor information, and hide the facts. They are your enemies. We all must learn to assess what is true and what is not because the battle for truth is about the get more difficult [see SMART RESEARCH IN AN AGE OF DISINFORMATION AND A COLLAPSING PLANET].
