Friends, 

The Covid Call to Humanity website has been subjected to a massive Denial-of-Service and malware attack in the past month.  There are days when we have recorded more than 350 million pings per hour being sent to the site. The attacks have died down to about 14-18 million per hour, but if you have recently visited the site, it has caused the deletion of our front page (all the other pages work) and a couple of plug-ins that are integral to the site's operation. 

As we are in the process of planning for our next steps for CCH, we deem it important to reconfigure the site so that it is ready for future initiatives. We are, therefore, putting the site under maintenance for at least a week. We are hoping that we can export the articles from the current website to the next one. If this does not work, we might need to copy every single article we have published since 2020 (we hope not, but will have to, as necessary!) 

The website will be down starting this Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 7AM Philippine Time (GMT +8). We will send you another email as soon as the site is back up.
