The European Liberal Push To Censor Musk and X
Carlo Fidanza, MEP for the Brothers of Italy Party, criticized EU officials for threatening to shut down X (formerly Twitter) over alleged non-compliance with censorship rules. He condemned the growing calls for online censorship from EU liberals, particularly after EU Commissioner Thierry Breton’s threat to ban X in Europe. Fidanza also accused the contemporary Left of being intolerant to free expression. The Brothers of Italy party also denounced these censorship attempts as attacks on democracy.

True freedom of speech means allowing all voices to be heard, not just those that align with a particular agenda.
