Russia Gives Special Treatment to African Leader Traore. Picks Him Up by Private Plane and Flies Him to Moscow

In connection with the Victory Parade in Moscow on May 9, Putin ordered government instrumentatlites to pick up President Ibrahim Traore from Burkina Faso. Putin instructed Russian officials to pick up Traore by a private Russian jet plane and bring him to Moscow to attend the Victory Parade. Traore has been having cordial relationships with Russia. Putin considers Traore a valuable ally.

The world is buzzing with the question. Why does Putin perceive Traore to be so important that he would use a private Russian jet plane to pick up the African leader and fly him to Moscow?

Putin, on the other hand, is increasingly fleshing out his vision of a multi-polar world where sovereignty and self-determination are respected. Hence, the diplomatic ties between Russia and Burkina Faso promise to strengthen and widen in the strategic future. 

Africa is now a new source of hope for citizens of other countries longing to shed the centuries old decay of democractic ideals and the seemingly unstoppable erosioin of moral clarity and courage in the world
