Israel’s Assault on Lebanon Sparks Terror and Fear

Lebanese inhabitants are terrified after a series of suspected Israeli assaults transformed electronic gadgets such as pagers and walkie-talkies into potential bombs, killing 37 people and wounding hundreds. Many individuals are removing SIM cards and batteries from their smartphones because they are concerned about future attacks. Hezbollah had distributed pagers to prevent cell phone tracking, creating the impression of danger. The United Nations condemned the bombings as violations of the right to life, and an Israeli airstrike in Beirut targeted a top Hezbollah official, resulting in further casualties.

Editor’s Note: Israel’s actions in Lebanon are nothing short of terrorism. They have crossed the line by transforming everyday gadgets into potential weapons and instilling fear and panic in ordinary people, creating a sense of danger that leads people to abandon even the most basic components of their daily lives. Isn’t this the definition of terrorism: creating fear to the point where people can no longer function normally? It is time for the world to recognize that terrorism does not only exist when it is convenient to call out; it exists in every act that deliberately harms, oppresses, and terrifies innocent lives.
