$10.3 Million Settlement Reached in First COVID Vaccine Mandate Class Action Suit
The following article was written by Liberty Counsel and published in The Defender last July 29, 2022.
According to the report, North Shore University Health System has decided to settle the class action suit filed against it by more than 500 current and former health care workers who were unlawfully discriminated against or denied religious exemptions from the COVID shot. As a result, North Shore will pay $10,337,500 to compensate the petitioners and all employees who were forced to resign or were terminated for their refusal of the COVID are eligible for rehire.
Editor’s Note: This article shows us that the right to practice our religion freely is a guaranteed constitutional right and cannot be impeded by government mandate.
It is also clear that the COVID shots were not as necessary as governments projected them. Otherwise, why would Northshore choose to settle if it thought it had a chance to win against the class action suit?
