In an address aired last October 12, 2020, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said that he has secured funding to purchase coronavirus vaccines but that he would need more to inoculate the country’s entire population. In his address, Duterte said, “All should have a vaccine without exception”.

The total population of the Philippines is now 113 million.

Editor’s Note: It is surprising that even though most of the suggestions we have forwarded to the president last April are now being supported by other experts, the Philippine president continues to adhere to a mainstream narrative that is not based on good science [see Briefing Paper and Open Letter which were both forwarded to the president in April].

There are now numerous pieces of evidence showing that the vaccine is unnecessary and that the focus of the government should be to protect the frail elderly, and the ill [see The Great Barrington Declaration: Life must return to normal for the healthy, the vulnerable must be protected, World Doctors’ Alliance: Another group of internationally-renowned medical experts call for end of all coronavirus restrictions, America’s Frontline Doctors holds second White Coat Summit to name a few].
