KNOW YOUR RIGHTS: A Legal Explanation by Atty. Aaron Soguilon

Kailangan ko magpabakuna kasi mawawalan ako ng trabaho kung sakali.”
“Wala naman akong choice e.”
“Kailangan kasi sa trabaho. Halos lahat bakunado na.”

Then you’re wrong.

Here’s the RA 11525 to protect you from coercion. This law states that vaccination should not be used as an additional requirement for employment, education, government transactions, etc.
Pinilit ka? I-grave coercion mo yan!

This is an accompaniment video for the article:

  1. Should not the Commission on Human Rights be made to comment on this issue? This way, if they take on a position contrary to that of ours, we shall then have a matter that can be elevated to the Supreme Court.

    1. We have brought several petitions to former CHR Commissioner Chito Gascon who agreed that vaccines should not be made mandatory. We have not yet heard about the position of the new commissioner.

    1. Please share to family and friends. Many do not know of their rights and are allowing themselves to be coerced thinking they cannot do anything.

Thank you in advance for your help!

  2. Two comments:
    1. “Congress” refers to both the upper house (Senate) and lower house (House of Representatives) so you use “Congress” to refer to both houses, use Senate for the upper house, and House for the lower house.
    2. The bill amending the “The Public Service Act” passed in the House but not yet in the Senate. Ito po yung bill that will allow 100% ownership of companies in certain industries i.e. transportation and communications. It does not affect ownership of media because media has separate provision in the constitution.

  3. Thank you Atty. Soguilon for your efforts to educate Filipinos. Sana mas marami pang lawyer ang lumabas at sumuporta sa advocacy ng covidcalltohumanity. God bless you more Sir.

  4. Thank you very much Attorney!

If they won’t force us to get vaccinated, can they still compel us to get an RT-PCR every 15 working days?

  5. Thank you for being at the forefront of this call, Atty. Aaron! Your legal initiatives are very timely and badly needed. I am not a lawyer but I want to be part of this initiative. Just let me know how can I be of help. By the way, Atty. Persida V. Rueda-Acosta, PAO Chief, already spoke against discrimination of the “vaccine-free” Filipinos ( I hope she’s already in your network regarding this call!

    1. Hello Jong!

Thank you for your offer of support. Atty. Aaron is working directly with Juan Dakila, but we collaborate with them also (as we use are also using the forms coming from them). If you want to take part in the individual legal battle (as a researcher, etc), you can find them FB. Or you can also help us with research on the latest information such as the link you gave re: Atty. Acosta. Just comment on the site for the links you find so others can also read them. 🙂
