Researchers at the Charite Berlin, Germany’s top hospital and one of Europe’s largest found that 8 out of 1,000 vaccinated people suffered severe side effects from the COVID shots. This pales in comparison to the 0.2% estimate made by the Paul Ehrlich Institute, Germany’s vaccine watchdog. The report on this was published on Focus Online last May 5, 2022.

Surveying 40,000 people across Germany, the researchers, led by Harald Matthes, asked about the effects and side effects of the vaccine after their vaccinations. According to their findings, Matthes says that side effects of COVID shots in Germany are underreported by at least 70%.

Here are some of the other results of the study:

• Matthes estimated that half a million Germans have experienced serious side effects following vaccination. Up to 80% of those who experience severe reactions recover within three to six months while 20% experience persistent symptoms.
• Some doctors are unwilling to talk about the effects of the vaccine, while many do not report adverse events they witness. Because of this, most of the vaccine-injured are unable to receive medical assistance, as there is very little information about how the injuries can be treated.
• Matthes noted a strong similarity between many of the symptoms of so-called “long COVID” and vaccine injury.

We have written about this many months ago, based on the information that was available at the time. That these vaccines were dangerous was apparent from the get-go. We hope that Filipinos have learned their lesson.
