In this July 2, 2021 report for Reclaim The Net, Christina Maas reports on the censorship of Dr. Robert Malone from LinkedIn.

According to Dr. Malone, a pioneer of mRNA technology, his LinkedIn account was deleted without notice after he expressed on his profile his concern for the risks of mRNA COVID vaccines. Malone said that vaccine risks are being downplayed by public health bodies. His statements were deemed against the misinformation policies of social media.

Dr. Malone says that his account was 10-15 years old, had 6,000 followers, and it never received warnings. Aside from the LinkedIn censorship, Jill, Dr. Malone’s wife said that YouTube “seems to be banning any content with him [Malone] in it”.

Editor’s Note: As of writing, Dr. Malone’s LinkedIn account has been restored. In his Twitter account, Dr. Malone posted the following message from a senior executive of the social network. It said: “I’d like to apologize on behalf of LinkedIn — we’re just not good enough at detangling complicated, subtle scientific claims concurrent with similar (but different) misinformation coming from others”.

As a normal internet user, does this public apology from LinkedIn make you feel better? Shouldn’t we be asking what was the basis of LinkedIn’s censorship? It reveals that LinkedIn has joined the bandwagon of censorship in Silicon Valley which is being driven by Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.

Because if they can do this to Dr. Malone, whose account has been active for more than a decade, they can very easily do this to anybody, particularly people who are less well-known and who are dependent on the network for their livelihood.
